Bert I. Gordon's "Tormented" is a pleasant surprise that sets-up a mature, atmospheric ghost story that handles itself rather sincerely, despite it's obtrusively dodgy special effects. But this factor of the film only heightens its charm and burly nature.
My review of Tormented I have just watched the teen thriller- Tormented and I really liked the low budget British horror. I thought the storyline was constant and easy to follow and the actors/ actresses did a good job of bringing a hint of humour to it as well as playing the horror scenes well.
Tormented, incited to hate, he was kept a prisoner so that there was no way of satisfying that hate except at the times his master saw fit to put another dog against him.
